Technology has become an effective tool in people’s lives, and without it, things would be slow and laborious. Without technology the world would be a different place and things would be done in a different way. Fifty years ago, society lived a different lifestyle than the way we live today. In today’s day and age, technology has become quicker and more efficient. I predict that technology will transform into an all in one device, therefore improving efficiency and reducing negative effects on the environment. Trends have proven over the past years that large company’s like Microsoft, Samsung, and Apple have created new technology that reduces the number of devices needed by a consumer in day to day life. Apple created the iPhone so that you wouldn’t have to carry around an MP3 player, watch and camera all at once. Microsoft created a laptop that works as a tablet and Samsung created a dock that turns your phone into a full working desktop. My prediction is that future technology will be used in a completely different way and through a completely different interface. I think that people will be using mind technology that will be based on VR and AR overall reducing people’s devices to only one, a device that doesn’t even have to be held. I predict that mind technology will be a single chip that will make life better and more robust then it has ever been before.
